Donate
A tax-deductible donation to The Women's Center/Harbor House can be directed to a host of causes. You may choose to make an in-kind donation, donate to our Annual Fund to support our current programs and services at Harbor House or make an unrestricted fund donation which will be used to meet the most critical needs of our organization at the time of your donation.
Donations to Harbor House:
We always welcome donations to support Harbor House, our domestic violence shelter. The Harbor House Domestic Violence Shelter is the only emergency shelter in Marquette and Alger Counties for survivors and children fleeing abusive homes. The shelter is always open, always staffed and always ready to help survivors and children in need of safety and access to services. Harbor House provides individual and support group counseling and supportive advocacy services to survivors staying in shelter. Harbor House also provides services to survivors and children that are not residing in shelter through outreach program services. Advocates work closely with survivors and their children to develop a safety plan. Please consider a donation to help pay the costs of operating Harbor House Shelter. Your donation can be used for household items, food, utilities or to help pay the mortgage.
